01 / ABOUT

About

I am a geotechnical engineer in training, currently completing a course based Master of Engineering in Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto with a specialization in geotechnical engineering, alongside the ELITE certificate in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation, and Technology.

My path into geotechnical engineering started in geology. I hold a B.Eng in Applied and Exploration Geology from the University of Guyana, and I have field experience on infrastructure projects in Guyana including dam construction and a pile production facility. That background shapes how I work.

My technical work spans numerical modeling (FLAC, RS2 and RS3, Slide2, and finite-discrete element methods), critical state soil mechanics and constitutive modeling, foundation and earth retention design, and computational methods in Python and MATLAB. I also co-founded ImatakaTech, where I lead market research and business development for FleetSpec, a fleet maintenance software product.

  1. 2025 to 2026

M.Eng, Civil & Mineral Engineering (Geomechanics)

    University of Toronto

Course based graduate program with a focus on geotechnical engineering: numerical modeling and the constitutive behavior of soils.

    Sub-specialization: ELITE

ELITE certificate in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation, and Technology, completed alongside the M.Eng.

  2. 2022 to 2024

    B.Eng, Applied and Exploration Geology

    University of Guyana

Graduated with distinction (GPA 3.64) and Dean's Honour Roll. Thesis on regional and local cone factors and semi-empirical models for undrained shear strength from regression analysis, for areas within Regions 4 and 6 of Guyana.
